These handmade pottery cups are perfect for drinking red wine. The rim is glazed for your lip comfort, but the rest of the cup is unglazed inside and out. The cups were handmade by me in my studio. They hold around 10 oz of liquid; a healthy cup of wine. These cups measure approximately 3.25" across and 4" tall.

The unglazed wine cups provide an interesting wine-drinking experience. Just as red wine needs to breathe before drinking, I recommend pouring wine into your cup and letting it "air" for 10-15 minutes. Some of the tartness and acidity will be softened by the unglazed clay and your wine will taste smoother.
To clean your red wine cup just rinse it with hot water and allow it to air dry completely. Do not use soap and please do not put these cups in the dishwasher.
